Russian Sage is now available in several named selections, all of them extremely valuable for their long season of bloom in the summer garden. This recent selection forms a narrow upright clump of greyish leaves that are finely cut and fragrant. Spikes of rich violet-blue flowers appear in high summer, continuing into late fall. All perennial plugs are healthy 1 year old plants, planted in trays. There is soil around the roots, but we recommend bringing a container for ease of transportation. As with bare root plants, we recommend transplanting plugs immediately.
