Bulb - Floristan White Gayfeather | Liatris spicata
Liatris spicata is yet another North American native that had to go to finishing school in Europe before finding acceptance in American gardens. This 'Floristan White' variety has tall spikes of densely packed, pure white flowers in July and August and provides a cool contrast to hot-headed summer blooms. It was selected in Germany for cutting, so remember to bring a few of these bright bottlebrush plants indoors.
