'Superior' is a plum tree for northern gardens. This robust tree produces abundant crops of fire-red fruit with sweet, juicy, yellow flesh. Dessert plums like these are ideal for eating fresh off the tree. Originates from University of Minnesota in 1933. Cold-hardy. Clingstone. Ripens in July.
