'Summer Snowflake' Viburnum| Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum
The Summer Snowflake Viburnum is a compact, multi-stemmed shrub that can grow to be 5–8 feet tall and has a broadly rounded form. It has tiered horizontal branches that display showy white flower clusters, which are 4 inches across and packed with large flowers. In the fall, the plant produces red fruit.
The Summer Snowflake Viburnum prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil, but can tolerate a range of soil types. It's a good specimen or hedge plant, and the densely held foliage can provide privacy to patio planting beds. For a solid hedge, space the plants 5 to 6 feet apart, and 12 feet or more apart for space between plants
