Canopy Delivery – Loader Required
Use this product for deliveries from our Canopy location that require the piggyback loader or heavy equipment to unload — B&B trees, large shrubs, or any item that cannot be safely hand-carried by the crew.
What's Included in This Rate
- Big truck and trailer
- Piggyback loader / skid steer for unloading
- One crew member — load and unload for a single tree or item
- Machine cost is baked into this rate — no separate equipment fee
When to Use This Product
- B&B trees of any caliper
- Large B&B shrubs that require mechanical assistance
- Any item where the crew cannot safely hand-unload
- When in doubt, use this product — not the no-loader version
Multiple Trees?
- Add the Additional Tree Unload line item for each tree beyond the first
- Qty = number of extra trees (e.g., 3 trees total → add Additional Tree Unload × 2)
Important Notes
- This is a per-trip rate — one delivery, one loader
- For smaller potted plants or bagged materials that don’t need the loader, use Canopy Delivery – No Loader Required instead
- Additional fees may apply for difficult access, steep grades, or long carry distances
Talking Points for Employees
- Distance is calculated from the Canopy location — use Google Maps to estimate mileage to the customer’s address
- If the customer is unsure of their distance, offer to look it up together
- Remind customers that delivery does not include installation — offer to add Plant Installation Service as a separate line item
- This product is for Canopy-based deliveries only — for Granville-based deliveries, use Mandy’s Delivery
- Always add Additional Tree Unload if delivering more than one tree
