Max Frei Bloody Cranesbill | Geranium
Soft mounds of foliage produce magenta-purple flowers. Foliage turns red in the fall.
The shorter selections of Crane's Bill Geranium are valuable edging or rock garden plants. This compact variety forms a low mound of fine-textured green foliage, bearing a nice display of bright magenta-pink flowers in late spring and well into the summer. Plants stand up well to a wide range of soil and climate conditions, including hot, humid weather. Easily divided in spring or fall. One of the best choices for massed plantings, filling in quickly to create a bushy groundcover. Often shows good bronzy-red fall colour.
