This new cultivar is sure to bring about a Renaissance in the garden for this old fashioned beauty. Long, slender, arching branches are filled with clusters of tiny white blooms in early spring on a 5 to 7 foot tall shrub with a spread of 6 to 8 feet. The foliage transforms from green to orange-red in fall.
A low maintenance, deciduous shrub with a compact growth habit boasts a longer bloom period than old fashioned varieties. Would make a wonderful foundation planting or be used to soften the harsh look of a fence. May attain an adult size that would eventually be too large for any pot or container although it would be possible to do so. A pot or container at minimum of 3 feet high and 3 feet wide would be appropriate. Disease and deer resistant, winter hardy in zones 3 to 7.
